Develop Brief History:

The history of Develop dates back to as early as 1948 when DEVELOP was officially founded by Dr. Walter Eisbein, Arno Lippinghoff and Konrad Kral on 21stof June. Their first manufacturing unit was established in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen and soon they came up with their first Blitz copier - Develop D 10 that was one-of-a-kind at that point of time. In the early 1950s, Develop got 16 patents and 39 licenses for Blitz copiers and they started manufacturing and selling their copiers in as many as 87 countries worldwide.

Later, after two decades, the company unveiled its first compact automatic copier for offices which was known as the Series 33 Volkskopierer and hit the US market. They even introduced the DEVELOP 66.1 - the first machine for use with standard paper. In the early 1980s, DEVELOP built the smallest automatic copier, known as the DEVELOP 10 which help them bag different awards for their futuristic design. Following the event, they signed a partnership agreement with Minolta and then onwards, they ventured into producing different kinds of devices for businesses in Europe.

Now, Develop is a fully owned and operated brand of Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH, which is located in Langenhagen, Germany. Further, Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH is a division of Tokyo-based Konica Minolta Business Technologies, Inc., a well established technology company.
