Ricoh IP C8500 Overview

The Ricoh IP C8500 is a high-end A3 color laser printer manufactured to cater to the needs of medium to large work environments that require robust, versatile in-house printing capabilities. The Ricoh IP C8500 offers outstanding performance, delivering up to 45 pages a minute in both monochrome and color. The first page out time for the black and white page is as quick as 3.2 seconds, while the first color copy is produced in just 5.2 seconds. The unit offers a maximum print resolution of 4800x1200 dpi for vibrant images and crisp text.

The unit features a 1.6 GHz processor with 2GB RAM, ensuring efficient and smooth operations. With a warm-up time of approximately 21 seconds, the printer allows for quick readiness. With vast media handling capabilities, the Ricoh IP C8500 has a standard paper handling capacity of 1200 sheets which can be further expanded to 4850 sheets. The standard output capacity of 500 sheets is suitable for 8.5” x 11” A4 sheets or smaller, and 9.8” x 13.9” (B4) 250 sheets or larger with a maximum output ranging up to 3500 sheets.

With vast media support, the Ricoh IP C8500 handles multiple media types, including recycled, plain, letterhead, colored, special, pre-printed, cardstock, envelopes, coated, gloss, and labels. In addition, the unit supports custom paper sizes varying from 3.55" x 5.83" up to 12.6" x 49.6", it adjusts as per the printing requirements, such as postcards and banners.

Ricoh IP C8500 has been equipped with a 7-inch Smart Operation Panel, which features a capacitive touchscreen, providing intuitive operation and smooth navigation. Users can easily connect the unit using a variety of options, including USB and Ethernet interfaces. Mobile printing options like Mopria, AirPrint, and Ricoh Smart Device Connector allow for quick and easy printing from various devices.
